He had his secondary school education at the famous Olivet Baptist High School Oyo between 1965 –1969, He was a medical student at the Medical School, University of Ibadan/University College Hospital, Ibadan between 1970 – 1976. He had Basic Science Course, Edinburgh Post-graduate Board of Medicine, Edinburgh, Scotland in 1979, Clinical Surgical training at City Hospital & Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh, Scotland between 1980 –1984. He has served as Registrar, Senior Registrar, Consultant and Senior Consultant in Ear, Nose & Throat Surgeon. He is a Fellow, Royal College of Surgeon and Physician, Glasgow, U.K, Member Nigerian Medical Association; Otorhinolaryngological Society of Nigeria and Saudi Arabia. He joined the Board of Crest Microfinance Bank in 2008.
